This collection captures the raw intensity and brief beauty of wildland fire landscapes. It’s shaped by four years of firsthand experience as a wildland firefighter, including three seasons with the U.S. Forest Service. These images document both the power of fire and the people working in it. Some were taken while on active duty, others over the years since 2016. Together they reflect the light, movement, and scale of a landscape constantly changing under fire.
